Sco-Fro Shrimp Investment Helps Beat the Recession

An investment in a major shrimp processing plant with the most advanced technology in Europe has helped Sco-Fro, Scotland's leading seafood company, weather the current recession.

The investment gives the company strict control over every facet of its shrimp operation, from sourcing raw material to finished products on the processing line. Meanwhile, Sco-Fro has launched a new range of top-quality shrimp and other products on both the UK and Continental markets under the Sea Spray brand.

The range includes traditional Scottish favorites: whole, peeled and shell-on scampi, scampi tails, king and queen scallops, fresh and smoked salmon, crab, mackerel, squid and surimi. Multi-lingual packaging is in German, French, Spanish and Italian as well as English, and Sco-Fro will pack in practically any size.
