Scientist 'hid sex torment'.
A SCIENTIST was too ashamed to tell her husband of her sex pest ordeal for three years, it was claimed yesterday.The husband told an employment tribunal in Edinburgh his wife's personality changed after she went to work at a pharmaceutical company in 1999.
But she only cracked and told him of her boss's harassment of her three years later.
The 40-year-old lab manager, who has a PhD in chemistry, sobbed as her husband revealed how she told him the owner of the company would talk to her constantly about sex.
Her delivery driver husband, 48, told the tribunal: 'One night she just lost it and told me what her boss had been doing.
'She kept going on about his 'dirty talk'.I asked her how long this had been going on and she said from when she started.'
At an earlier hearing, the woman said her boss, who sat just four feet away from her, would try to convince her women liked being raped .
The boss denies the allegations and has won an order banning identification of the company or anyone involved.
The hearing continues.
