Schools list anger; YourSay.

I WAS really angry tonight when I read your front page about the continuation of schools feeding city gangs.

I think it was irresponsible to print names of schools.

It stands to reason that gang members come from inner city schools; one didn't need a newspaper article to tell you that.

The tell-tale signs should just have been sent out to all Birmingham schools, but certainly the names of schools not published.

You at least owe all schools listed a public apology.

Kathleen Boyle, Erdington Editor's note: The Birmingham Mail felt it was crucial for parents as well as teachers to be aware of the danger of gangs recruiting from schools in their area. We felt it wrong that only education workers should be allowed to see this list..
