School No 2 in cat alert.

A SECOND school has been put on alert after a cleaner came face to face with what experts believe is a black leopard.

Mary O'Connor ripped her clothes on fencing as she fled in terror alongafootpathnear Auchenlodment Primary in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.

Mary, 42, hadbeen walking to the school at 6 am for her shift on Monday.

A police helicopter searchedtheareabutnotrace of the animal was found.

The scare came two weeks after a big cat was seen prowling near the grounds of nearby Lochwinnoch Primary school.
