Schenectady Chemicals.

Effective January 1, 1993, Schenectady Chemicals will become Schenectady International. The name-only change is said to better reflect the international scope of the business. The company's four facilities in Schenectady County, NY, serve as headquarters for the company's chemical, resin, electrical insulation divisions as well as its corporate offices and research and development center. The company also has a manufacturing site in Freeport, TX; affiliated companies in Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, France, India, Mexico and Spain; and three facilities in Japan.
