Schematic Names Paul Chambers as Executive Creative Director of Firm's New York Office.
NEW YORK -- Schematic, a WPP company, announced today it has named Paul Chambers as executive creative director of the firm's New York office. Chambers joins Schematic with a broad digital background leading global creative for brands including Intel, ExxonMobil, Diageo, Nikon, Johnson & Johnson and Microsoft. In this newly created position, he will be responsible for guiding clients' overarching creative strategy and will play a key role in developing breakthrough digital experiences that engage consumers and drive growth for Schematic's Fortune 1000 clients.
Prior to Schematic, Chambers served as group creative director at the New York office of Tribal DDB Worldwide where he led digital creative efforts for the firm's global clients. Earlier, he served as creative director at MRM Worldwide and has held senior positions at Deutsch, Inc. and Zentropy Partners. His work has been featured in outlets including AdWeek, Advertising Age, The New York Times and Creativity and encompasses initiatives across the interactive spectrum in areas such as mobile, social networking, e-commerce, iPhone apps and in-videogame advertising. Chambers received his BFA in fine art from Cardiff University and his MFA in fine art from Ohio State University.
