Schaumburg Township hosts RTA presentation July 31.

Schaumburg Township will host the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) for a free presentation on accessible public transportation at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

RTA Mobility Outreach Coordinator Linda Chamberlain will present on various public transportation options in the suburbs and Chicago area available to residents.

Topics to be covered will include local public transportation options; accessibility features on CTA, Pace and Metra; Ventra Cards; travel safety tips; RTA's free travel training program; and planning an accessible trip.
