Washington, Mar.18 ( ANI ): Scarlett Johansson has called Dylan Farrow's open letter "irresponsible" after she mentioned the actress' name in the letter.

The 29-year-old American actress who has worked with Woody Allen told The Guardian that it was irresponsible to take a bunch of actors that will have a Google alert on and to suddenly throw their name into a situation that none of them could possibly knowingly comment on.

Woody Allen's adopted daughter Farrow had mentioned in the letter that what if it would have been Johansson, pointing out her sexual assault from Allen when she was 7-years-old.

'The Avengers' star added that she is unaware that there's been a backlash and she will continue to know what Allen knows about the situation, and the actress is sure that other people involved have their own experience with it. ( ANI )
