ScanRope Holding AS wins NOK80m contract in the US.

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-13 June 2006-ScanRope Holding AS wins NOK80m contract in the US(C)1994-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

The Norwegian anchoring systems provider ScanRope Holding AS has received a NOK80m contract for steel wire and synthetic rope from a US customer.

The wire and rope will be used in a pre-set drilling rig anchoring system in the Gulf of Mexico.

The deal was reported by Blom ASA, which is in the process of acquiring ScanRope Holding.

One Norwegian krone (NOK) is worth approximately 0.09 British pounds (GBP).
