Scam of the week.

DON'T gamble on people selling you legit lottery tickets at your door. I received loads of reports last week about a scam that seems to be going on across the country. One victim, Gene from Leicester, got a knock from a man claiming to be from the Postcode Lottery. He had a clipboard with a Postcode Lottery sticker on it and an ID card around his neck. In Gene's words "he looked official and completely genuine". But he sold Gene ten fake lottery tickets then took off with his cash. It is a scam.

The real Postcode Lottery does not sell tickets door to door.
