AMONG the cases dealt with at Teesside Magistrates Court on August 7 were: Gary Michael Wilfred Slater, 27, of Sedgemoor Road, Middles rough, jailed for 12 weeks for theft and failing to surrender to custody.

William Paul Bilton, 35, of Garnet Street, Middles rough, jailed for 36 weeks for breach of a suspended sentence order, theft, possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class C drug, failing to surrender to custody, handing stolen goods and failing to attend a follow- up assessment.

Barry Doyle, 49, of Gainsborough Crescent, Billing ham, banned from driving for 24 months and fined pounds 1,600 with pounds 43 costs for drink-driving.

Michael John O' Mahoney, 20, of Ammerston Road, Middles rough, banned from driving for 20 months and fined pounds 140 with pounds 43 costs for drink-driving.

Patricia Dale, 68, of Kirkham Road, Nun Thorpe, Middles rough, banned from driving for 12 months and fined pounds 100 with pounds 43 costs for drink-driving.

Anthony James Singleton, 21, of Athol Street, Middles rough, banned from driving for 12 months and fined pounds 176 with pounds 43 costs for drink-driving.

Marc Murray, 21, of Alston Green, Middles rough, banned from driving for 20 months, given an 18-month community order and ordered to pay pounds 20 costs for drink-driving, using a vehicle without insurance, driving a vehicle taken without the owner's consent and driving without an appropriate licence.

David Harland, 38, of no fixed address, jailed for 28 days for theft.

Roy Sowerby, 22, of Bra bourn Gardens, Hemlington, jailed for 28 days for theft and failing to surrender to custody.

AMONG the cases dealt with at Langbaurgh East Magistrates Court on August 7 was: Andrew Richard Donaldson, 33, of High Street, Red car, banned from driving for six months and fined pounds 350 with pounds 25 costs for using a vehicle without insurance and driving without an appropriate licence.
