Saudi-organized disaster-combat training course wraps up in Sudan.

Khartoum, Safar 29, 1435, Jan 1, 2014, SPA -- A training course titled "Disaster Combat", organized by the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent (SARC) in the Sudanese state of Al-Jazeerah, concluded here today.

Director of the Relief office of SARC Dr. Mohammed bin Omer Al-Sayyed, said 30 trainees had their training during the period from December 25, 2013.

He said building the capabilities of volunteers in Sudan comes as directives of Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, President of SARC. The training courses would considerably contribute to carrying out the relief projects in Sudan, instructed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
