In related news, Sartomer has announced two personnel changes at its Midwest sales office. Terry Quinn has been promoted to regional sales manager and will remain based in Chicago. He will report to Al Tuccio, vice president of sales for Sartomer. Mr. Quinn joined Sartomer in 1989. Assuming Mr. Quinn's former position of technical sales representative will be Chris Gebhart. He started working for Sartomer in 2005 as a junior technical sales representative.
Sartomer Company has also announced two executive retirements. Nicholas Trainer has retired as president of the company. Mr. Trainer joined the company in 1969 as a technical sales representative. He was named general manager in 1975 and promoted to president the following year. Luigi Colantuoni, vice president of TOTAL's Atotech Far East, has been named Mr. Trainer's successor. Sartomer is a division of TOTAL's Chemicals branch. John A. "Jack" Potts, senior vice president, business management, sales, and marketing, has retired after 33 years with the company.
In addition, Sartomer Company has named Brian Contrisciane technical sales representative. He will be responsible for the New England region. Mr. Contrisciane joined Sartomer in 2005 as a sales trainee.
