Saratoga pretty as a picture.

Big-race ace Mick Kinane did it again at Doncaster as 9-2 shot SARATOGA SPRINGS got home in a desperate photo-finish with Mudeer to land the pounds 94,000 Group One Racing Post Trophy.

And the drama continued for winning punters after the narrow verdict as Richard Hills, rider of third-placed Mutamam, objected to the first two horses. Stewards upheld the result 20 minutes later.

Winning trainer Aidan O'Brien has an embarrassment of riches, with Single Empire 5-1 favourite for next year's Derby and Saratoga Springs 20-1.

"All Saratoga does is eat and sleep," said O'Brien. "He's so laid back."
