Sarah is fashion winner; BLAIR OUT.. ..BROWN IN.
SHE has been Britain's first lady for just 48 hours but Sarah Brown is already showing she is a class act when it comes to dress sense.
As her husband Gordon took over as Labour leader on Sunday, Sarah, 43, watched proudly - dressed in an expensive-looking smart cream suit and matching shoes.
The jacket's drawstring waist gently tucked her in, giving her curves in all the right places.
The bright red top added a splash of colour to the outfit, suggesting mum-of-two Sarah has a lively sense of fun.
The former PR woman got it spot on - absolutely right. In a simple linen suit she was perfectly dressed for the occasion.
The belted jacket flatters her figure and the simple pencil skirt finishes just below the knee, highlighting her enviable hourglass shape.
The colour of her top adds a bit of spice to the ensemble, which can be picked up from any High Street store.
Head to Wallis or Debenhams to get the look for as little as pounds 75.
Sarah is well known for being publicity shy and uncomfortable with life in the spotlight. So she promises to be a very different kind of PM's wife to her predecessor Cherie Blair, whose fashion faux pas have been the stuff of legend.
Sarah, who will be moving into No10 tomorrow, is said privately to be no fan of Cherie's eagerness to hog the limelight.
It is expected she will take a back seat to Gordon during his leadership.
But when it comes to style, Sarah definitely gets our vote.
