Sarah Palin leads GOP field, Romney best against Obama: Poll.
The poll has shown that Palin, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential nominee, has 22 percent support, while Romney commands 20 percent support of the total Republicans surveyed, the Politico reports.
Texas Representative Ron Paul and Atlanta businessman Herman Cain tie for third place with seven percent votes.
But of the Republican candidates, Romney runs closest to Obama, at 38 percent to 51 percent. Obama outpolls former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty by 19 points and Palin by 23 points.
The poll surveyed 1,132 adults, 948 of whom were registered voters, between June 3 to 6.
Most polls have shown Romney leading the GOP field. (ANI)
