Sarah, chosen by Disney to sing a "princess-themed" song.

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo was chosen by Disney to perform the theme song of a Disney "Princess" franchise.

The news came after a teaser of the music video was aired on Disney Channel where Geronimo was seen singing some parts of the song "The Glow" and invited the fans to watch for the music video which will premiere on December 6.

The first version of 'The Glow,' a princess-themed song sang by Shannon Saunders which debuted in 2011 was used with the induction of the character Rapunzel as an official Disney Princess

Geronimo, whose popularity spans across the Southeast Asian region after winning 2014 MTV EMA's SEA Act, now joins fellow The Voice PH coach Lea Salonga who have rendered their voices for Disney films. Salonga is recognized as Disney Icon for singing Aladdin's "A Whole New World" and "Reflection" from Mulan.
