Sapurik: more investment power for domestic companies.

Domestic businessmen consider that the business community should raise its voice. Some of them expect their problems with infrastructure and public utilities to be resolved, in order to approach and harmonize their working conditions with those applied by foreign investors.

The business climate in Macedonia will be improved with amendment regulations that according to Minister without portfolio, Zoran Sapurik will vest more investment power in domestic companies. Following the complaints filed by businessmen that foreign investors enjoy better conditions for leading a business Sapurik's team announced that the procedures for issuing construction permits will accelerate, the payment of business fees will be fair, and the stimulations will depend on budget opportunities.

Domestic businessmen consider that the business community should raise its voice. Some of them expect their problems with infrastructure and public utilities to be resolved, in order to approach and harmonize their working conditions with those applied by foreign investors.

Foreign investors are exempt from paying many of the taxes like tax relief on duties and utility bills, exemptions from VAT, corporate income tax and personal income tax, landholding for up to 99 years and subsidies for plant construction.
