Santoso takes medalist honors.

NAPA, Calif. - Oregon junior Cathleen Santoso shot a 1-under 71 Tuesday to rally to win the Silverado Shootout at the Silverado Resort.

Santoso led the No. 23-ranked Ducks women's golf team to a second-place finish behind tournament champion Stanford. Santoso bogied two holes on the front nine but rallied in the final four holes, making birdies on hole Nos. 15 and 16.

Stanford's Lauren Kim dropped from her second-round lead to second.

Caroline Inglis recorded a 2-under 70 in the third round Tuesday to finish 3-over for the tournament and in 10th place. It was her fifth top-10 finish this season.

Kathleen Scavo shot a 75 in the final round to finish tied for 47th with teammate Petra Salko.

Beavers finish third at tourney held at Chambers Bay

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Conner Kumpula recorded his highest finish in his career to lead the Oregon State men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Redhawk Invitational on Tuesday at Chambers Bay Golf Club.

Kumpula finished in a tie for fourth place after finishing 13-over 225 for the tournament. He closed with a 72 Tuesday in the 54-hole event at the site of the 2015 U.S. Open.

Sophomore Jonas Liebich recorded a career-best mark, finishing tied for 11th at 16-over 228.

Owls win CCC regular season men's golf championship

SALEM - Oregon Tech finished second at the Corban Invitational on Tuesday at Creekside Golf Club to wrap up the Cascade Collegiate Conference's regular season championship.

Tyler Swinton and Janel Ferlan both finished third for the Owls, who host the CCC tournament championships April 17-19 in Eagle Point.

Northwest Christian finished seventh. Levi Dean was its high scorer and tied for 15th.

Raiders sweep doubleheader from Beacons, 4-2 and 11-2

SPRINGFIELD - Southern Oregon swept a Cascade Collegiate Conference softball doubleheader Tuesday at Northwest Christian.

The Raiders defeated the Beacons 4-2 in the opener and then cruised to an 11-2 victory in the finale in five innings.

Southern Oregon banged out 11 hits in the second game, including home runs from Alexa Gonzalez, Megan Winton and Tyler Burke.

Kiara Vasquez hit her first home run of the season for NCU (11-25).
