Santex AG Nonwoven.

New from Santex AG Nonwoven, Tobel, Switzerland, is the "Wavemaker" vertical lapper for nonwovens featuring the "Struto" vibration system. Due to the vertical position of fibers in the web, the fabric created by this technology has high three-dimensional stability. The product targets markets such as the automotive, shoe, bedding, filter, geotextile and insulation industries. In other company developments, Santex has released the "Santaplast" heatsetting unit for spunbonded or carded nonwovens. Santaplast heatsets felt without width shrinkage while maintaining a uniform weight profile over the width of the fabric.
