Santander Foundation donates GBP5,000 to WLDAS.

British based provider of financial services and part of the Spanish Grupo Santander, Santander UK on Friday revealed that West Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service (WLDAS) has received GBP5,000 from the Santander Foundation.

WLDAS received the GBP5,000 from the Santander Foundation, which offers grants to UK registered charities who assist disadvantaged people in local communities, to fund a new digital centre for people affected by domestic abuse in Lincolnshire.

The grant will allow WLDAS to purchase furniture, electrical equipment and computers to create a digital snug to help clients access help and support as well as interact with the relevant Government agencies. WLDAS is a provider of support and assistance to men, women and children suffering from or fleeing domestic abuse.

Branch manager at Santander's Gainsborough branch, Haley Sayles, commented "The Santander Foundation makes hundreds of donations every year to good causes throughout the UK. Our branch is committed to playing a key part in the community and we are delighted to be supporting West Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Service and hope the donation makes a real difference to local people."

Santander UK is a provider of financial services in the UK and it offers a number of personal and commercial financial products and services and it serves around 14 million active customers with around 20,300 employees, as of 30 June last year.
