Samuel Smith's Lager debuts

Samuel Smith's Pure Brewed Lager Beer, produced by the oldest brewery in Yorkshire, England, is now available here, Merchant Du Vin Corp., an importer, has announced.

The beer, which, according to the importer is brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law, is produced with malted barley, whole dried hops, Tadcaster water and brewers yeast. "The beer has a light golden color, fresh crisp hop and yeast aroma, delicious pale malt taste, and clean finish," Charles Finkel, president, Merchant du Vin, stated.

Sam Smith Lager is packaged in six-packs of green 12-oz. bottles. The bottles feature illustrations of Samuel Smith pubs.
