SAM MAXWELL is set to get some broadcasting exposure tonight.

The Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, 29, travelled to Oberhausen in Nordrhein-Westfalen earlier this week to prepare for his first overseas assignment as a professional.

Maxwell, 4-0, faces Oszkar Fiko of Budapest in Hungary over six rounds on the undercard of Manuel Charr's clash against Alexander Ustinov for the vacant WBA 'regular' world heavyweight title.

And 'Super Sam' - who was most recently in action last month in Leeds when he took less than a round to dispatch of Gyula Tallosi at the First Direct Arena, as part of a BT Sport-aired card topped by Josh Warrington's stoppage victory of Dennis Ceylan in a final eliminator for the IBF featherweight world title - will be hoping to put on a similar display in front of the BoxNation cameras after it was revealed that the UK's only boxing-dedicated channel will screen his fight as part of their broadcast.

The Channel of Champions' coverage of the Charr-Ustinov battle begins at 6:45pm, with Maxwell set to feature as the chief support.
