Sam Adams arrives in Virgin Islands

Samuel Adams Boston Lager recently made its debut in the U.S. Virgin Islands' St. Croix and St. Thomas, according to the Boston Beer Co.

"I'm delighted we finally had enough beer to begin selling Samuel Adams here," said brewer Jim Koch. "I can't think of a better place to do those ceaseless quality checks that great beer requires. After all, if I don't come to the Virgin Islands myself, I'll never know how good Samuel Adams tastes in paradise."

The beer, which will be served at local restaurants, bars and stores on the islands, will be distributed by Bellows International of Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas.
