Salvage Management Information Is Online.

PHH Salvage Management, Hunt Valley, Md., now offers a Web-based information system that allows its insurance clients throughout North America to access salvage management information via the Internet.

A division of PHH Vehicle Management Services, PHH Salvage Management works with insurers to reduce their costs when insured vehicles are deemed a total loss after being wrecked or recovered from theft.

The company remarkets total-loss vehicles through a multichannel, national salvage network.

Information about salvage vehicles is stored in PHH's data warehouse, which insurance clients can now access through PHH Access. Clients can use the Internet system to assign the vehicle directly to PHH for remarketing.

Then they can research the up-to-date status of their salvage portfolio online by individual asset, division or company-wide. More information about PHH Access is available at the company Web site,
