Salus International Network

President: Bob Edwards Address: 1501 N. University Ave., Little Rock, 663-4348 Start-up date: June 1

Salus International Network is a "crisis intervention line" that provides advice, counseling and therapy for those who don't wish to actually visit therapists.

The 1-900 service costs $2 per minute and is considered by Bob Edwards, president, to be a "short-term therapy service."

Edwards says there are eight licensed psychotherapists available for counseling.

Edwards estimates the start-up cost for his business to be $30,000. He and his wife, Darlene, the business manager, are the two owners.

Salus International Network is advertised on radio, in local newspapers and in the Yellow Pages.
