Sales open in Rockland for Hudson River condos.

Piermont Landing, the enclave of luxury townhomes and mid-rise residences under development at the edge of the Hudson River here, has opened sales as a condominium.

Sixty-two homes priced from $176,000 to $385,000 are currently available, with initial occupancy expected in January according to Piermont Residential Corporation, the community's sponsor.

The offering includes a five-story residential building with one-level and duplex homes, and two types of townhomes.

Situated on its own secluded peninsula that reaches out into the Hudson, Piermont Landing is convenient to both the Tappan Zee and George Washington Bridges, providing easy commuting to business centers in Manhattan and Westchester County. Major highways such as the New York Thruway and Palisades Interstate Parkway offer access to shopping malls in Rockland, Bergen, and Westchester Counties.
