Saks names Denise Incandela to new role of CMO of Saks Fifth Avenue.

Retailing company Saks Incorporated (NYSE: SKS) announced on Wednesday that Denise Incandela, president, Saks Direct and executive vice president of Saks Fifth Avenue, has been named to the newly created position of chief marketing officer for Saks Fifth Avenue.

The company said that Incandela will also continue as president, Saks Direct.

In her new role Incandela will continue to report to Steve Sadove, chairman and CEO of the company. Kimberly Grabel, senior vice president of Marketing, will report to Incandela. Also, Terron Schaefer, executive vice president and chief creative officer, will continue in that role, reporting to Sadove.

Incandela was named as president, Saks Direct and EVP of Saks Fifth Avenue in 2010. Prior to that she was president, Saks Direct and group senior vice president of Saks Fifth Avenue. Before that she held the post of SVP of Business Development and Saks Direct. She joined Saks Fifth Avenue in 1999. Earlier she was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she was a leader within its Retail Practice and served Saks Fifth Avenue as a client.
