Sakana Holistic Housing Solutions, an Islamic mortgage provider, has reiterated its commitment to women's career development.

The company said an impressive 46 per cent of its employees are female, much above the industry average of 25 per cent for financial service companies, claimed an official.

These figures reflect SakanaCOs recruitment policy which offers equal opportunities based on merit, regardless of gender, according to the company.

"Women are extremely well qualified to take up professional positions within the financial services sector. In fact, when Sakana began operations in 2006, our female workforce stood at an impressive 30 per cent," said R. Lakshmanan, SakanaCOs CEO.
