Allison Miller is tired of living in the shadow of her over-achieving sister, being known at school only as 'Larrie's little sister.' It is only a matter of weeks now until Larrie completes year 12, leaving space for Allison to demonstrate her true abilities and to have a chance with the school hunk, Josh Turner.

Just when she thinks she's got everything worked out, Allison's best friend lets slip the rumours being spread about Larrie and the whole school is buzzing with the news. But who is spreading the rumours and who put the photo on Facebook? Allison is confronted with the news about her sister and has to deal with a whole gamut of emotions which challenges her views and her relationship with Larrie.

This novel covers a range of issues often encountered at Secondary School, from bullying to homophobia. Many young people will relate to the various issues presented here. It is a well written novel that deals with these issues through humour, reflection and honesty, presented in a real life situation. Highly recommended 14+.
