Sahara issue: Burkina-Faso reiterates support for Morocco's position.

Marrakech - Burkina-Faso's minister of the Territorial Administration and Decentralization, ClE[umlaut]ment PengwendE[umlaut] Sawadogo, reiterated, here on Friday, his country's firm support for Morocco's position over the Sahara issue. AaAaAa At the end of talks with State Secretary to the Interior Minister Saad Hassar, on the sidelines of the 5th Africities Summit held in Marrakech, Sawadogo told MAP that Burkina-Faso's president has consistently reaffirmed "his firm, clear and direct support" for Morocco regarding this issue. AaAaAa Burkina-Faso shows solidarity with the Moroccan people regarding this issue, he said, adding that the two countries share visions regarding various issues of common interest. AaAaAaAa Sawadogo hailed friendly and brotherly ties between HM King Mohammed VI and Burkina-Faso's president as well as the excellent cooperation relations between the two countries.
