Safari trip on offer to A' level student.

WEST Midlands students are being given the chance to have a gap year with a difference.

Travel company Abercrombie and Kent has teamed up with secondary schools and sixth colleges to offer three pupils the chance of a lifetime.

The Safari Scholarship will be for A' level students taking a gap year and will be in three different camps in Kenya, Zambia and Uganda.

The three month holiday will see them experience everything about safari, including camp operations to client hospitality and the subtleties of bushcraft.

To be in with a chance students have to write a 500 word essay called: "Why I am the perfect candidate for Abercrombie and Kent's Safari Scholariship".

They must register in advance by phoning 0845 618 2116 or by email

The winners will be expected to keep an online blog about their experience.
