Sad Wood are Lok'd out; JUNIOR CUP THORNIEWOOD 1 POLLOK 3.

POLLOK romped in to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals as Wood failed to cope with their clinical finishing.

Lok dominated the first half and Bryan Dingwall was denied three times by home keeper Graeme Murphy.

But there was nothing Murphy could do in 39 minutes when Derek Wingate nodded the opener. Pollok doubled their lead three minutes after the break when Dingwall (right) dispossessed keeper Murphy and fired into the empty net.

Mark Daly pulled one back with a close-range shot but David Turnbull's volley settled it.
