Sachs still disgusted by Brand prank.

Byline: GARRETH MACNAMEE

FAWLTY Towers star Andrew Sachs has slammed Russell Brand's apology following his controversial radio gag.

Brand, 38, quit his BBC show in 2008 after he caused outrage by leaving Sachs, 83, a voicemail boasting about having sex with his granddaughter Georgina Baillie. Brand and co-star Jonathan Ross were forced to apologise to the actor but Sachs thinks it's just an act.

He said: "I don't think about it much. It was not a happy time. What they did was disgusting."

Asked if he accepted their apology, he replied: "No. It doesn't mean a bloody thing."

Sachs' wife Melody also slammed the pair for continuing to refer to the incident. She said: "They never leave us alone. They've earned enough out of it, surely?"
