Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising: 'The Best of Both Worlds'

The World's Most Creative Agency AND A Client's Most Favorite Agency

NEW YORK, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising, selected as the world's most creative agency at this year's International Advertising Festival in Cannes, has also been recognized by its clients to be the creator of some of the most effective advertising campaigns. In separate awards ceremonies staged by Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Campbell Soup Co. and the National Crime Prevention Council, Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising was acknowledged as an important contributor to business building excellence.

For example, at Procter & Gamble's annual "Business Building Ad Awards" -- created to recognize the contributions made by agencies to the development of strong and lasting equities for the company's brands -- Saatchi & Saatchi was responsible for 6 award-winning campaigns including Tide/Ariel (in the U.S., France and Scandinavia), Napisan (in Australia), Pampers (in Germany and Ireland), Head & Shoulders (in China and Europe) and Flash (in the UK).

Similarly, earlier this year, Saatchi & Saatchi was the recipient of General Mills' highest honor -- the "Chairman's Award" -- for its stewardship of the Kix brand. Three other awards were also presented to Saatchi for: best on-going TV campaign (Kix); best kid television advertising (Gushers); and best new product introduction (Frosted Cheerios).

At Campbell Soup's All Employee Meeting, the Bakery & Confectionary Award along with the company's most prestigious honor, the "Dr. John T. Dorrance Award" was given to Pepperidge Farm's Goldfish snacks due, in large part, to the success the brand has enjoyed since the Saatchi-created "Gone Goldfishin" advertising campaign debuted in February. Specifically, in advertised areas, business was double the sales results achieved in non-advertised areas.

Finally, the Board of Directors of the National Crime Prevention Council has bestowed the agency with the Carl M. Loeb Award for Excellence -- only the third time this award has been presented in the 15 years of the organization's existence.
