SYSTEMS CENTER DIVESTS UNIX UTILITY PRODUCTS RESTON, Va., Sept. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Systems Center, Inc.
(NYSE: SMX), today announced that it has concluded a previously announced agreement to sell certain UNIX utility products to Raxco Software, Inc., of Rockville, Md.
Systems Center remains committed to UNIX/Open Systems strategies, and has recently been selected by the Open Software Foundation (OSF) to provide the Distributed Print Services component for OSF's Distributed Management Environment (DME). With this award, Systems Center joins the DME integration team and will actively participate in the delivery of OSF open systems software. Systems Center, Inc., develops, markets and supports systems and network management software.
