SYNTELLECT PROMOTES PREDOVIC TO CFO, COMPANY SECRETARY; NEW CHARTER
 INCLUDES OVERSEEING ACQUISITIONS, MAINTAINING COMPANY GROWTH
 PHOENIX, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Syntellect Inc. (NASDAQ: SYNL) today announced the promotion of Daniel J. Predovic, the company's vice president of finance and treasurer, to the positions of chief financial officer and company secretary. The promotion was approved by Syntellect's board of directors at its July 29 board meeting.
 "Dan's sound financial and accounting skills have guided Syntellect from a start-up phase through a successful public offering to our current $35 million projected 1993 revenue," said Thomas R. Mayer, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Syntellect. "I'm looking forward to Dan's continued contribution as we proceed with our strategic business objectives."
 Prior to Syntellect, Predovic has held executive finance positions at Sendero Corp. in Phoenix; Process Control Inc. in Tempe, Ariz.; and Computer Associates International Inc. in Long Island, N.Y. Predovic is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Arizona State University.
