 MELBOURNE, Fla., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Symetrics Industries, Inc.


(NASDAQ: SYMT), a designer and manufacturer of high quality, electronic systems and assemblies, reports fiscal 1992 ended March 31, 1992 as the third straight year of increasing profitability with a net income of $218,620 or $.28 per share and an 89 percent increase compared with $115,383 or $.15 per share last year. Contract revenues of $5,521,494 were 37 percent higher than the previous year's revenues of $4,026,356.
 The company's financial posture continued to strengthen as indicated by liquidity and profitability measurement factors which reflect the low debt and plenty of working capital. Significant accomplishments in fiscal 1992 included a $1.5M award from NASA, KSC for a digital communications system; shipment of over $6.3M of equipment and services; and completion of its 30 years in business (Feb. 5, 1992).

 The recent award from NASA, KSC will expand their digital communications system used in the launch control center, at the launch pads and at various other locations by the many personnel who monitor and control the launch process. The company is aggressively pursuing new business across a broad market base and currently has about $50 million of competitive bids outstanding and four significant new proposals in process.
