SYMANTEC: CLASS ACTION COMPLAINT FILED AGAINST SYMANTEC

 CUPERTINO, Calif., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Symantec Corp. (NASDAQ: SYMC) today announced that a class action complaint for violation of the federal securities laws and derivative state law claims have been filed against the company and the company's board of directors and senior management. The company believes that these allegations are entirely without merit and will defend its position vigorously.
