SURGIDYNE, INC. REPORTS THIRD QUARTER RESULTS INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn., Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Surgidyne, Inc.,
today announced third quarter results. The company reported significant increases in revenues for the third quarter, up 62 percent and for year to date, up 40 percent as compared to the same periods in 1990. The third quarter loss of $38,872 was anticipated by the company due to start up costs associated with production of its new postoperative drainage and autotransfusion system for Baxter Healthcare Corp. The company is producing battery powered vacuum controllers and sterile disposable drainage and autotransfusion products to fill a $250,000 Baxter order in the fourth quarter. The company continues to expect to achieve its first-ever year of profitability in 1991.
