SUPPORTERS TAKE TO TWITTER AS VIOLENCE UNFOLDS.

there was a hugE reaction on Twitter to the events which unfolded in Lille yesterday.

JAMES CORBETT tweeted: "I was in Lille's grand place 90 minutes ago. Loads of blues, all very good natured.

Shocked to see these pics now."

'@GRANDOLDTEAM posted: "Absolutely disgusting behaviour from Lille police. Targeting/dispersing Evertonians for no reason.

"Police in Lille treat football fans like its the ' 80s. Tear gas and riot police called in for no apparent reason."

ELLIE MORGAN wrote: "Absolute disgrace French police tear gas and bullets.

"No need we were all just enjoying ourselves.

There was NO trouble at all! Disgusted."

French councillor HERVE MARIE MORELLE wrote on Twitter: "Insecurity, urban violence supporters of #Everton drunkenly trash and litter the main square of #Lille!"
