SUPERCOMPUTER SYSTEM INC. UNSUCCESSFUL IN SEARCH FOR INVESTORS

EAU CLAIRE, Wis., Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Supercomputer Systems, Inc. (SSI) announced today that, despite an aggressive search for new funding, it has been unable to attract qualified outside investors willing to underwrite the company's continued operations. Effective immediately, SSI is discontinuing further efforts to attract new investors.
On Jan. 25, SSI announced that it was halting its development and manufacturing efforts and that its facilities were closed for normal operations. Actions implementing that decision are ongoing.
SSI would like to express its deep appreciation to the State of Wisconsin, the City of Eau Claire and the state's Congressional delegation for their support and efforts on SSI's behalf.
It is with deep regret and profound sadness that SSI makes this announcement today.
