 SUNBANK INTRODUCES NEW DEBIT CARDS
ORLANDO, Fla., March 20 /PRNewswire/ -- SunBank announced today it

will issue VISA and MasterCard debit cards to more than 70,000 All-In-One(R) account holders.
The cards will be accepted for purchases at more than 9 million VISA and MasterCard merchant locations worldwide, but unlike a credit card, transactions on these cards will be charged to the customer's SunBank checking account, and reported on the customer's monthly checking account statement. John J. McGuire, executive vice president of marketing stated: "The new All-In-One card looks like a credit card, but it works like a check, which means more convenience and less hassle for our All-In-One customers. With this new card, customers who prefer to pay for their purchase with checking account funds, can do so without all of the hassle normally associated with paying by check."
The new cards also serve as ATM cards, with access to more than 75,000 SunBank, Honor and Cirrus automated teller machines. The All-In-One cards can also be used to guarantee personal checks for up to $200 at nearly 12,000 participating merchant locations in Florida. "We want to provide our All-In-One customers with the ultimate in choice and convenience, and adding the VISA and MasterCard debit capabilities accomplishes that."
All-In-One is a packaged account of financial services, including checking, no annual fee credit card, overdraft protection, and more. There is no charge for the VISA or MasterCard debit cards.
SunBank also issues VISA and MasterCard debit cards with Portfolio Banking, which is a comprehensive package of banking services for upscale clients.
SunBanks, a $18.2 billion bank holding company, operates nearly 350 offices throughout Florida. It is part of SunTrust, a $34 billion super regional bank holding company.
