SUNAIR ELECTRONICS ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF BOARD MEMBER

 FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- R. R. Williams, Lt. Gen. U.S. Army, retired, advised the chairman of Sunair Electronics, Inc. (AMEX: SNR), Robert Uricho Jr., that he was resigning from the board of directors effective Sept. 24, 1993.
 Williams said in his letter of resignation that he found his background and expertise less and less applicable to the company's business. He said further that he had become extensively involved with several local (Dallas) non-profit organizations including the Executive Service Corps and the Dispute Resolution Service. He stated his interest in Sunair continues and believed the company's products were outstanding and that he intended to retain his stock in the company.
