SUN TO REDEEM BONDS

 PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Company, Inc. (NYSE: SUN) will redeem all of its remaining 7.125 percent debentures on Nov. 15, 1993, the company announced today.
 The bonds, issued May 1, 1972, had an original maturity date of May 1, 2002. Redemption price is 100.27 percent of the principal amount, plus accrued interest from Nov. 1, 1993, to Nov. 15, 1993.
 Bonds currently outstanding total $47.5 million of the original $100 million issue. They will be redeemed by the trustee -- Chemical Bank, Securities and Trust Services, 450 W. 33d St., New York, NY 10001.
 Debenture holders are being notified directly of the redemption via letter dated Oct. 14, 1993.
