SUN TO REDEEM BONDS

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 18 ~PRNewswire~ -- Sun Company, Inc. (NYSE: SUN) said its subsidiary Sun Company Inc. (R&M) will redeem all of its remaining 8.5 percent debentures on Dec. 15, 1992. The final maturity date was originally Nov. 15, 2000.
 Redemption price is 100 percent of the principal amount, plus accrued interest covering the period Nov. 15, 1992 to Dec. 14, 1992. Bonds will be redeemed by the trustee -- The Chase Manhattan Bank (National Association), Four Chase MetroTech Center, Third Floor, Brooklyn, N.Y. 11245.
 A redemption notice was sent directly to debenture holders on November 12, 1992. Bonds currently outstanding total $47,995,000. The original issue was $150 million.
