 SUN NAMES VICE PRESIDENTS
 PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of Sun's


organizational realignment announced July 23, seven executives have been appointed to the position of vice president, effective Oct.1.
 They are:
 -- J. Robert Banks, vice president of Health, Environment & Safety, a new position. Banks has been with Sun since 1966 and has held various management positions in engineering, product supply, and risk management.
 -- George E. Crow, vice president, Lubricants, a new position. Crow joined Sun in 1965 as a retail sales representative and has held various management positions in Planning and Business Development, and also, was manager of Sun's Lube Service Center in Marcus Hook, Pa.
 -- Jack L. Foltz, vice president and general counsel. Foltz joined Sun in 1980, following a 19-year career with Shell Oil. His assignments at Sun have included assistant general counsel for the parent company and vice president and general counsel for Sun Refining and Marketing Company, a major subsidiary. Foltz succeeds Donald P. Walsh, who is retiring Dec. 1.
 -- J. Greg Driscoll, vice president, Branded Marketing and Development, a new position, responsible for Sun's Clean Fuels Development Program and for advertising and marketing support of the Sunoco and Atlantic brands. Driscoll joined Sun in 1965 and has held various assignments in R&D, fuels planning, wholesale marketing and business development & strategic planning .
 -- Richard P. Jackman, vice president Communications. Jackman joined Sun in 1978, following a 22-year career with General Electric and assignments with the Chicago Tribune and United Press. His positions at Sun have been in communications and include responsibility for publications, media relations, community relations, contributions and special events.
 -- Alfred Little, Jr., vice president, Human Resources. Little joined Sun in 1978 and has held various management positions in employee relations & EEO and human resources operations. Little succeeds Bill N. Rutherford, who will continue with Sun in a consulting capacity.
 -- James M. Trammell, vice president, State Government Relations. Trammell joined Sun in 1961, and has spent most of his career in the government relations area. Earlier in his career, he held various positions in sales, marketing, training and real estate.
