 SUN DISTRIBUTORS NET INCOME UP 16 PERCENT IN FIRST QUARTER
 PHILADELPHIA, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Distributors, L.P. announced today it had net income of $1.6 million for the first quarter of 1992, up more than 16 percent from the $1.4 million earned in the first quarter of 1991, it was announced by Donald T. Marshall, chief executive officer.
 Sales for the first quarter of 1992 were $147 million, up nearly 9 percent from the $135 million recorded in the same 1991 period. Marshall noted, "Sales were close to planned levels and there are signs of strengthening in some of our markets." He said 1991 acquisitions contributed more than $9 million to sales growth in the first quarter.
 Income per Class A (NYSE: SP?) interest was $.14 in the first quarter of 1992, up from $.12 per interest in the first quarter of 1991. No income was allocated to the Class B (NYSE: SDPB) interests in the first quarter of either 1991 or 1992.
 Sun Distributors continued its policy of monthly cash distributions to holders of both Class A and Class B interests. Payments in the first quarter totaled approximately $.275 per A interest and $.033 per B interest.
