SUMMIT HEALTH TO ACQUIRE SIX SURGERY SUITES AND TWO URGENT CARE CENTERS

 BURBANK, Calif., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Health Ltd. (NASDAQ: SUMH) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Summit Ambulatory Network Inc. has entered into agreements to acquire six new surgery suites and two new urgent care centers in two separate geographical markets.
 Summit Ambulatory Network has signed a letter of intent to purchase a 70-percent interest in the Central Coast Ambulatory Surgery Center. This center is located in San Luis Obispo, Calif., adjacent to French Hospital Medical Center, which is owned and operated by Summit Health. Central Coast Ambulatory Surgery Center is a free-standing surgery center with two surgery suites.
 Summit Ambulatory Network also has signed a letter of intent to purchase two urgent care centers that are located in San Luis Obispo and Pismo Beach. "The addition of the Central Coast Ambulatory Surgery Center and the urgent care centers should provide Summit with the capability for an integrated health care delivery system in the San Luis Obispo market and should continue positioning Summit for the competitive realities of managed care," stated Don Amaral, president and chief executive officer.
 "We have also signed a letter of intent to lease Phoenix-based Metro Ambulatory Surgery Inc., a free-standing surgery center with four surgery suites," continued Amaral. "Outpatient services continue to be a major contributor to our successful growth strategy. With the addition of San Luis Obispo and Phoenix surgery centers, we will have 68 surgery suites in the Summit Health system."
 Summit Health Ltd. provides quality health care services to niche markets through 12 acute care hospitals with 1,641 licensed beds and two free-standing outpatient surgery centers with a total of 62 surgery suites. Summit Health, through its subsidiary Health Choice Arizona, a Medicaid HMO, insures approximately 18,000 lives in the state of Arizona. Also, through its majority-owned Summit Care subsidiary (NASDAQ: SUMC), the company provides health care services to the elderly through 17 skilled nursing centers with 2,228 licensed beds and four retirement centers with 468 beds.
