 SULCUS COMPUTER AND INDOTEL ANNOUNCE FIRST MAJOR CONTRACT
 UNDER SULCUS-INDOTEL AGREEMENT
 GREENSBURG, Pa., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Sulcus Computer Corporation (AMEX: SUL), PT Indotel and PT Indobuildco, jointly announced today the first major contract award to Lodgistix/HMS, a Sulcus subsidiary, to provide software systems and services in Indonesia. The contract from PT Indobuildco includes Sulcus installations at the 1,100-room Jakarta Hilton, the largest hotel in Indonesia, and the computerization of the Jakarta Convention and Conference Center, a new 600,000 square foot facility which will be completed this month in time to host the Summit Conference of heads of state of the Non-Aligned Member (NAM) nations in September.
 The contract calls for the installation of the Lodgistix LANmark Property Management System and Sales Catering Management System (SCMS) to run the hotel, convention and other bookings, marketing and back- office accounting systems, as well as installations of the Squirrel point-of-sale system for the restaurants, and food and beverage outlets of both the hotel and convention center.
 In addition, Squirrel, a Sulcus subsidiary, has been awarded a contract to implement its point-of-sale technology at the Bali Hilton in Indonesia, a 540-room facility in which a Sulcus Hospitality Property Management System is already installed and operational. Included will be the automation of hotel restaurants, room service, gift shop, poolside facility and catering, according to Sulcus and Indotel.
 Teddy Boen, executive vice president of PT Indobuildco and of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association, said "This first project for the Sulcus-Indotel joint venture is most important to the country of Indonesia, bringing to our rapidly growing nation the most advanced hospitality software and communications technology. With our new conference and convention center destined to become a magnet for Asian business meetings, we require the most sophisticated technology available. This will be provided by Sulcus, through its Lodgistix/HMS, Squirrel and NRG subsidiaries. Many more projects will follow as we implement modernization and growth programs for the Indonesian tourism industry."
 Stella Gunawan, managing director of Indotel and Boen of PT Indobuildco Company, owners of the Jakarta and Bali Hilton properties as well as six other hotels and golf resorts in Indonesia, noted that "the overall initial automation project is budgeted at $3 million (U.S.) of which 40 percent will be installed by the Sulcus-Indotel joint venture."
 Paul Hammer, president of the Sulcus Hospitality Group, said "We are pleased to receive this contract with Indotel, the commercial arm of the Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association, which represents approximately 2,000 hotels throughout Indonesia. We look forward to additional business with Indotel as a major contributor to Sulcus' increasing presence in the Asian market."
